Al Quran – Read Quran Offline is an app designed to provide Muslims with a means to recite the Holy Quran on their mobile devices. Its primary function allows users to read the full Quran Sharif offline, presenting the text page by page. The app aims to replicate the experience of reading a physical Quran book by displaying a complete page, formatted with 16 lines, on the screen at all times, thereby eliminating the need for scrolling. This approach intends to offer a focused and uninterrupted reading session for religious practices.
Offline Access and Book-Like Reading
The app enables users to read the Holy Quran without an internet connection, ensuring access anywhere and anytime. It features a full-page view, displaying 16 lines of text per page, which is designed to feel like holding an actual Quran book. To navigate through the scripture, users simply swipe the touchscreen to move to the next page. This design choice removes the need for vertical scrolling, keeping the entire page visible for continuous recitation.
Navigation and Convenience Features
Users can navigate the Holy Quran by selecting specific Surahs or Paras, offering flexibility in choosing where to begin or resume reading. For an improved reading environment, the app includes a feature that prevents the mobile screen from turning off automatically while it is in use. Additionally, it provides a comfortable brightness color setting, which can be adjusted via screen touch to enhance eye comfort during extended reading sessions. A Home Screen Widget is also available, offering quick access for immediate Quran reading. The app recently added a Ramadan Calendar for 2026, which includes fasting times.
